Daniele Costa

Daniele Costa (born in Castelfranco Veneto, 1992) lives and works in Castelfranco Veneto. His research focuses on understanding the human body on two different levels: on one hand, the internal functioning of the human body, based on medical and scientific insights; on the other, human individuality, the knowledge of the person in relation to their personal history, environment, and self. He studied Arts, Music, and Performance at the University of Padua and Visual Arts at IUAV University of Venice. His works have been presented in institutions and festivals such as PAC Milano, Teatrino di Palazzo Grassi Venice, MAXXI Rome, GAM Turin, and the National Gallery of Art, Tirana. Among the awards he has received are the First Prize at the 100th Young Artists’ Collective, Bevilacqua La Masa Foundation (2016), and the Lydia! Award for Emerging Contemporary Art (2021).
