Acquired by the Municipality of Castelfranco Veneto in 2021, Palazzo Soranzo Novello is set to become a cultural landmark in the city. This historic building, once a noble residence and later the headquarters of the Banca Popolare di Castelfranco Veneto, is destined to house the Civic Museum and to serve as an exhibition hub for high-level artistic and cultural events.
In 2023, with the event Temporanea. Esibire. Documentare. Recuperare, the Palazzo was officially presented to the community, outlining the core principles of its enhancement: art exhibitions, the promotion of creativity and contemporary art, and the protection of the city’s historical and artistic heritage.
Beyond being a place for conservation and research, Palazzo Soranzo Novello is reinventing itself as a space for gathering and creativity – a meeting point for citizens, artists, and visitors. With its architectural charm – from the 18th-century halls to more modern layers – and its history rich in meaning, the Palazzo is shaping up as a continuously evolving cultural laboratory, capable of hosting initiatives that will establish Castelfranco Veneto as a national reference point for art and culture.
