Alberto Zanetti (born in Cernusco sul Naviglio, 1977) was born right in the middle of a Juventus UEFA Cup match — a curious detail, considering he has always been a die-hard AC Milan fan. On that very same day and year, Chris Martin, frontman of Coldplay, was also born… just saying, because it sounds cool. He grew up in Milan, between school and the smell of chlorine from swimming pools. While studying Economics at university, a chance encounter in New York with Pierpaolo Ferrari changed the course of his life: Pierpaolo asked him to become his assistant, despite the fact that Alberto had never even held a camera before. A true Sliding Doors moment. From then on, he left his studies behind and dove — quite literally — into the world of photography. After a long apprenticeship alongside Ferrari, he began shooting on his own. A film enthusiast, his work moves between fashion, art, and portraiture, striking a balance that reflects both curiosity and versatility. He has been part of the Toiletpaper Magazine team since its foundation and has collaborated with various magazines and fashion brands.
