The performance SENZA TITOLO by VENERDISABATO unfolds across different areas of the Palazzo, engaging in a sonic dialogue with the space and seeking to traverse it through sound.
Moving through the rooms, Luca observes the artworks. Once he selects one, he stops and begins to freestyle – improvising verses and rhymes inspired by what the work evokes – speaking his words into a walkie-talkie. Sara, seated alone in another room with no visual access to the artwork, listens to Luca’s description via radio. When Luca ends with the signal “over,” Sara responds, attempting to guess the work he is describing.
In this way, the artwork finds completion through its “technical data,” while its transformation into spoken word reverberates through the Palazzo, inviting visitors to trace the source of the sound and identify the described piece.
After the live performance ends, the walkie-talkies remain in the rooms, continuously looping the recorded exchange. The words about the exhibition circulate once more, bouncing off the very works they describe and carrying their narration throughout the space.
The performance will take place at three different times: 11:00 a.m., 3:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m.
