GIULIA SCOMAZZON AT PORTOFRANCO

GIULIA SCOMAZZON AT PORTOFRANCO

On Saturday, January 31 at 6:00 pm, at Palazzo Soranzo Novello in the spaces of PORTOFRANCO, an event dedicated to 8.6 gradi di separazione, the new novel by Giulia Scomazzon, in conversation with journalist Michela Fregona.
Set in a recognizable and silent Veneto province, the book follows Alice, a teacher in her early thirties, as she grapples with the end of a relationship and an unresolved relationship with alcohol. A lucid and ironic narrative about addiction, local social rituals, and the fragile and contradictory desire to become invisible – or to start over.
