Rachele Calisti (born in Amandola, 1997) is an Italian visual artist based between Milan and Genova. She is interested in the operating logics of display supports as means of validation and unpronounced aesthetic value. Her work is constructed around contradictory tendencies between what an image appears to be and how it behaves in relationship to the structures that legitimates its appearance. Since 2024, she has been responsible for the management and artistic direction of Palazzo Bronzo, an artist-run space and cultural association located in the historic center of Genova, involved in the promotion of artists and creative practices of the territory and beyond. In 2024 she collaborated with Cookies, a design and architecture studio, mentored by architect and exhibition designer Federico Martelli. She is currently working as an assistant for the architect and exhibition designer Giuseppe Ricupero.
