Anna Galtarossa

Anna Galtarossa (born in Verona, 1975) lives and works between New York and San Pietro in Cariano – Verona. Trained at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, she works with sculpture, weaving, cinema, and VR. Her first solo exhibition was held in 2004 at Spencer Brownstone Gallery in New York, where she also published her first book, City. Her works have been exhibited at the Musée d’Art Contemporain de Bordeaux, the Zabludowicz Collection in London, the Gamec in Bergamo, MART in Rovereto, Fondazione Pomodoro, Triennale di Milano, Castello di Rivoli, and the Margulies Collection in Miami. She was awarded the Moroso Prize in New York (2010) and the Alinovi Prize (2011).
