Agnese Guido (born in Copertino, 1982) lives and works in Milan. She graduated from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts and has participated in numerous exhibition projects in Italy and abroad with both galleries and public and private institutions. Her work is an intuitive exploration of the symbolism of images through painting, drawing, and ceramics. Seeking the ironic yet poetic and paradoxical aspects of reality, she tells stories in which the boundaries between objects and human beings are blurred and malleable, as are those between image and word. In an anthropomorphic dimension, objects reveal human emotions, and figures become pretexts to depict ideas, constructing a personal universe in which the subjects are both the characters inhabiting it and the codes to decipher it. In 2025, she presented her work in several exhibitions, including Storie Dipinte (two-person show, Antonio Colombo Arte Contemporanea, Milan), Il Faro dell’Arte Contemporanea (Castello di San Giorgio, Lerici), Per Grazia Ricevuta (Tesoro di San Gennaro, Naples), the Tripstillery Art Collection, UVNT Art Fair in Madrid with Wizard Gallery, Dove Comincia la Notte (Chassis, Turin), and Intorno alla Stella (Nashira Gallery, Milan), in addition to participating in Arte Fiera Bologna with Wizard Gallery.
